URLs and domains although they are sometimes used as interchangeable words a URL and a domain don’t actually reference the same thing. Yes, they are both related to your website and how to view it but there is a subtle nuanced difference between the two terms.

Is the main address of the website, the one you put on your profile or business card.
It’s how people find your main homepage and what comes after www in a web browser.
URL – Universal Resource Locator
A URL is a complete web address that will load a specific page or content item.
It contains the domain name as well as the location of the page it leads to.
